Thundering Silence

Racial violence, institutional silence, and resistance in a Mississippi and Louisiana corridor.

Thundering Silence is a multi-volume work of historical nonfiction. Its author, Suzie, has spent more than twenty years in primary sources on the Dee and Moore cold case and the Silver Dollar Group in Franklin County, Mississippi, and Concordia Parish, Louisiana.

The book follows what was done, what was recorded, and what was left unsaid, and it follows the people who resisted. It is a work in progress, and Volume 1 is in first draft.
